- Dates (seedless, good quality)

Instructions
- Take good quality, fresh dates. Clean them and ensure they are destoned (seeds removed).
- Grind the dates into a paste. Add a little water as needed to aid in grinding to achieve a smooth consistency.
- To the ground date paste, add hing, sugar (or jaggery), black salt, regular salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, and garam masala.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
- Cook the mixture on a medium flame until it thickens into a chutney. The video implies a cooking process to make it ready.
- Once the chutney is ready and cooled, transfer it to a clean container.
- Store the date chutney in the refrigerator.
